Rockett Interactive Hits the Inc 500 List – Top 100
Inc. Magazine has ranked Rockett Interactive as number 87 on its list of the fastest-growing private companies in America in their first appearance in the rankings, and number 8 in the Advertising/Marketing sector.
Asked the reason for his company’s rapid rise, Rockett pointed to his team’s rigorously maintained standards of expertise and accuracy, adding that his personal experience on the account management side focusing on major national clients give his company a unique perspective, viewing the role of interactive advertising differently from many others in the advertising industry.
“A lot of people in advertising and marketing look at interactive as a silo that operates out on the edge of traditional marketing,” says Rockett. “I think that’s shortsighted, because interactive is actually deeply integrated into the core process of motivating consumer response and behavior. The tools may be different, but the goals are the same as they’ve always been.”
He continued, “I was fortunate to work in Account Management at The Martin Agency, on major clients like Bank One and Kellogg’s, and then took on leadership of the interactive media side at the Agency, handling Alltel, CareerBuilder, Olympus Camera, and others; so branding, creative, promotion and Client service are instinctive to me. I know the relationship issues agencies face, and those the clients face, and my people are trained to understand these issues. That’s probably why we have so many strong, confidential agency relationships.”
“I was truly startled when we got the package informing us of our ranking,” said Rockett, “I hadn’t even given it a thought. We’ve all been too busy.”
