Rockett Interactive Named Finalist in Stevie Awards for Women in Business
October 16, 2008, Cary, NC –– Interactive marketing agency Rockett Interactive is one of ten finalists in the Fastest Growing Company of the Year category in The 5th annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business. Co-owned and operated by Genevieve and Mark Rockett, Rockett Interactive was recently named #87 on the Inc. 500 list of fastest growing private companies; since July 2007 they have seen revenues grow 67%, the client roster grow 20%, and had a dramatic increase in employee infrastructure.
“The rapid acceleration of internet advertising, coupled with the speed with which we’re able to evaluate and respond to our clients needs” said CFO Genevieve Rockett, “have certainly contributed to our success. But clients also keep coming back because of the service and value of the innovative thinking provided by our talented team.” Ms. Rockett manages the agency’s financial side, but her role also encompasses guiding the agency’s vision, marketing, operations and human resources.
The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honor women executives, entrepreneurs, and the companies they run – worldwide. The Stevie Awards have been hailed as the world’s premier business awards. Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word “crowned,” winners will be announced during a gala event at the Marriott Marquis hotel in New York on Friday, November 14. Nominated women executives and entrepreneurs from the U.S. and several other countries are expected to attend.
Finalists were chosen by business professionals worldwide during preliminary judging.
Members of the Awards' Board of Distinguished Judges & Advisors and their staffs will select Stevie Award winners from among the Finalists during final judging.
