Rockett Interactive Ranks # 17 in Top 100 Small Business’s in North Carolina
Business Leader Magazine awards young agency high honors
Rockett Interactive has been ranked number 17 in the Second Annual Business Leader Media listing of the Top 100 Small Businesses in North Carolina for 2009. These elite businesses were chosen based on their track record of both significant business achievement and community involvement within the state of North Carolina. Rockett Interactive, founded just 5 years ago, has achieved an exceptional growth rate – including 2,859% growth from 2004-2008 – and it and its employees participate in a variety of local activities including pro bono work for The Museum of Life and Science, regularly donating manpower and time to Habitat for Humanity, and student mentoring with several universities including UNC-Chapel Hill, Wake Tech and owner Mark Rockett’s alma mater, Appalachian State University.
The agency also recently qualified as a registered MSN ad Excellence Company, continuing to validate & certifying their excellence in maximizing success of large scale pay per click or paid search campaigns. This paid search accolade is addition to their already established Google qualified company status.
Business Leader limited the criteria to include only those companies with 100 employees or less, that also perform the majority of their business in North Carolina. Each company's 1-year revenue growth, 5-year revenue growth, business achievements, and community involvement were evaluated. A community vote amongst the finalists was used as part of the criteria in determining the rankings 1-100.
